Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the United States with 295,000 out-of-hospital occurrences each year and only about an 8% survival rate. Recent studies show that a very simple technique, which can be learned in about 30 minutes, can help to greatly improve this survival rate.
