The Safety Training for Swim Coaches (STFSC) course has two parts: Online Content and In-Water Skills. This is called Blended Learning.
Coaches must complete the Online Content by following a link given to them by their instructor. Then they must meet with a Red Cross instructor for in-water skills. If a coach has a current Lifeguarding or Shallow-Water Lifeguarding certification, that coach needs the Online Content Only and can take it directly from the Red Cross.
